GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE

Get off your high horse - she sings, as she trailblazers her way through life. Leaving a trail of smoke to which you will choke, as she passes you by. This isn’t for the ones with proper graces and tongues, but for those that aren’t afraid to revel in their rebel within. For those that remind everyone else - judgement is just another sin. For the women who light their own path and leave a match for the next to come. For those who know there is nothing boastful in placing oneself in the dizzying highness above. As there is always someone else ‘below’, in the depths of the earth, with something to teach; where seeds are sewn…where status should be burnt into the smoky haze of acceptance and being enough. It’s time to, ‘get off your high horse’.
